 FRANK A. BARBIERI

Frank A. Barbieri, President and Co-Owner of 187 Realty Corp., has been licensed as a Real Estate Broker in New York State since 1966.  A third generation member of a real estate family, he was born in the Bronx, New York and spent his early childhood in the Belmont/Little Italy section of the Bronx.  A graduate of Manhattan College with a B.S. in Social Science, Mr. Barbieri served five and one-half years active duty in the United States Air Force as a Supply Operations Officer in Missouri and Norway, achieving the rank of Captain before being discharged in 1971.  Upon being discharged from the United States Air Force, Mr. Barbieri embarked upon a successful real estate career with the Federal Government, serving two years as a Staff Appraiser with the Veterans Administration and almost twenty-eight years as a Realty Specialist with the United States Postal Service.  During his Postal Service career, Mr. Barbieri successfully negotiated hundreds of leases and purchased numerous properties in New York State, New Jersey, Connecticut, Puerto Rico and St Croix.  He also completed numerous professional real estate and appraisal courses as part of his continued effort toward self-development.  Upon his retirement from the Federal Government in 2001, Mr. Barbieri joined his son Christopher Barbieri in his present role with 187 Realty Corp., a full-service real estate firm located in the Belmont/Little Italy section of the Bronx, NY.

Mr. Barbieri resides with his wife Diana in Pelham Manor, NY.  He is the father of three sons, Christopher, Frank Jr. and Thomas and the grandfather of Alessia, Lorenzo, Anna-Margot and Nicholas. Mr. Barbieri has served on the Board of Governors of the Bronx-Manhattan North Association of Realtors, of which he is a member and serves on the Parish Council of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, Bronx, NY. He is also a member of the Ushers Society of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, Pelham Manor, NY.  He serves as an active member of Pelham Post 50, The American Legion, having achieved the highest rank of Commander.  From 1974 through 2008, he served as a trained volunteer firefighter with the Pelham Manor Volunteer Fire Company. 

Mr. Barbieri is an active and dedicated member of the Metropolitan New York City real estate community and is prepared to serve your real estate needs in the Bronx, Westchester and neighboring counties.

While attending university, Miss Terrero was employed as an office assistant for the Navy of the Dominican Republic, as a secretary for the Santo Domingo Chamber of Commerce and as an office assistant for the Inter-American Development Bank.

Returning to the United States in 2008, Miss Terrero attended the Academy S.B.J.C.A. where she successfully completed an eight-month course of study in Technical Bookkeeping. In the fall of 2009, Miss Terrero was accepted for employment as the administrative assistant for 187 Realty Corp., Bronx, NY.  In January 2010, Miss Terrero successfully completed the New York State Real Estate Salesperson’s Course and is in the process of securing her license as a NYS Licensed Real Estate Salesperson.

Miss Terrero plans on advancing her professional career in the real estate industry, working especially with the local Bronx and Manhattan community, where she will be able to utilize her bilingual skills and business background to fulfill the real estate housing need of this important segment of the Bronx County and Westchester County populations.
